Just a very simple introduction of my slightly-complicated background. My name is Eddie and I am a Singaporean-born Malaysian, and not just any part of Malaysia, but the very nice city of Kuching in Sarawak. I grew up, studied, worked and got married in Singapore before moving to Bangkok at the end of 2009 and have been here ever since.
A common problem in Bangkok, which stall should I buy my meal from? |
Back to the blog, it has always started off as a platform for me to give timely updates to my friends and relatives back in Singapore and Malaysia, and to also give them an insight to Thailand from an outsider's (not tourists's) perspective. However, this blogging journey has reaped far more rewards that I could have ever imagined.
And it is because of your enthusiasm and support that I can summon the energy to churn out posts consistently to keep you interested in how this family is doing in this exotic Thai metropolis.
This not a travel, parenting or foodblog, but it has a bit of everything, without losing the initial spirit of concentrating on my life in Thailand.
Though I cannot consider myself a real Stranger in Bangkok anymore, but trust me, things are stranger, here in Bangkok!
I love your blog and hearing about your family.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work.
